Malcolm X's Legacy
Malcolm X's legacy still lives on today. If it wasn't for his help, desegregation would have taken a lot longer. He fought for what he believed and inspired others. In America now, there is no segregation and not as much racism. Even if you don't believe with his ethics and teaching styles, you have to believe that he changed the world for the better. We remember him today because of the historical impact he had in on our society. He changed America for the better.
What I've Learned About Malcolm XI learned that Malcolm X wanted equality, justice, and desegregation for everyone. He fought hard to achieve his goal and it didn't matter how he did it. He was okay with non-violence but he was also fine promoting violence. He used his intelligence to inspire and encourage anyone who would listen to help end segregation. I used to think that Malcolm X was just a popular gangster who used violence to get what he wanted, but now I know that Malcolm X was an eloquent, well-spoken and well-educated man who wanted equality for everyone. Even though I do not agree with his methods, I appreciate that he saw that there was a change needed in America, and he wasn't afraid to fix it.
